Mixed Media Artist Jacki Cairns original mixed media artwork was created in 2016 shortly after Bowie’s death. The materials used range from acrylic paint, water soluble pastels, tissue paper, stamps, newspaper and dress patterns. I work intuitively and the materials I use are chosen generally because of their texture, colours and shape rather than anything else. I chose to do my own version of this very famous image of Bowie as it is probably the most iconic and it is interesting to see how different artists approach it.

The print is printed using artist grade Giclee printing by a specialist printer, on high quality 250gsm textured watercolour Paper, with a substantial border around the edge to enable easy mounting and framing.
Image size is approximately 324mm x 250mm.
The overall size being 420mm x 304mm.

This is a Limited Edition of just 50 prints, each is individually numbered and signed by the artist.
